What is Fuel Good Day?

Fuel Good Day, also known as Feel Good Day, is an inspiring initiative launched by the Federated Co-operatives Limited in 2017. Since its inception, Fuel Good Day has raised over $4.9 million nationwide, supporting more than 870 local organizations. This remarkable event channels a portion of sales proceeds from a selected day in September back into the communities we serve, benefiting local charities and non-profit organizations.

Meet our 2025 Fuel Good Day Beneficiaries:

School District 60 Band (SD60 Band)
"The SD60 band program wishes for all students to be able to experience the joy of making music as a part of a dynamic and supporting community."

North Paw Animal Rescue
"We provide refuge, food, supplies, veterinary care, transportation and care to cats and dogs in the NRRM."

Our Participating Locations and Products:

114 Ave Gas Bar & Car Wash (11432 100th Street, Fort St. John) supporting SD60 Band with the following: 

• 10¢ from every litre of fuel sold
• $1 from every slushy, ice cream, and coffee sold
• Plus, $2 from every in-store car wash sold

Fort Nelson Gas Bar (5331 50 Avenue (South), Fort Nelson) supporting North Paw Animal Rescue with the following:

• 10¢ from every litre of fuel sold
• $1 from every slushy, ice cream, and coffee sold
  

114 Ave Gas Bar & Car Wash:
BBQ by donation from 3pm to 7pm in support of the Energetic Edge Cheer Association, with all proceeds going to the foundation.

Organizations Previously Supported

In 2024, Fort St. John Co-op members and customers raised Four Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty Two Dollars Eleven Cents ($4,352.11) on Fuel Good Day which was donated to Fort St. John Association for Community Living, Fort Nelson Playschool, and Wellness Truth & Family Foundation. While in 2023, the sum of Two thousand, Four Hundred and Fifty Three Dollars Four Cents ($2,453.04) was raised and donated to Silver Willow 4-H Club.
