What is Fuel Good Day?

Fuel Good Day, also known as Feel Good Day, is an inspiring initiative launched by the Federated Co-operatives Limited in 2017. Since its inception, Fuel Good Day has raised over $4.9 million nationwide, supporting more than 870 local organizations. This remarkable event channels proceeds from a selected day in September back into your community, benefiting local charities and non-profit organizations.

In 2024, Fort St John Co-op members and customers raised Four Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty Two Dollars Eleven Cents ($4,352.11) on Fuel Good Day which was donated to Fort St. John Association for Community Living, Fort Nelson Playschool, and Wellness Truth & Family Foundation. While in 2023, the sum of Two thousand, Four Hundred and Fifty Three Dollars Four Cents ($2,453.04) was raised and donated to Silver Willow 4-H Club.

How It Works

On September 16, 2025, our 114 Ave Gas Bar & Car Wash, and Fort Nelson Gas Bar will participate in Fuel Good Day. For every litre of fuel sold on this day, a minimum of 10¢ will be donated to a selected local registered charity or non-profit organization, each in Fort St. John and Fort Nelson.

But that’s not all!

Slushies, Coffee, Ice Cream, and Fountain Pop: For every purchase of any of these delightful treats at our Gas Bars, $1 will be donated to the same charities or non-profit organizations.

Car Wash Sales: For every car that gets washed on that day, $2 from each sale will also go toward supporting the same local charity or non-profit organization. This is applicable only to 114 Ave Gas Bar & Car Wash.
