Position Overview:
Fort St. John Co-op is seeking a Petroleum Clerk to support the day-to-day operations at our Fort St. John Cardlock and C-Store locations. This entry-level position plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, and assisting with both retail and petroleum functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate POS and inventory systems.
- Prepare orders for pickup or delivery.
- Perform general housekeeping and facility upkeep.
- Merchandise stock, displays, and backroom inventory.
- Comply with Food Safety standards while handling coffee and food products.
- Follow all Co-op safety and operational procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for checking and updating customer accounts upon request.
Who You Are:
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptable, organized, efficient, and committed to delivering results
- Proficient in computer skills and comfortable with technology
- Experience in a C-Store, Petroleum, or Gas Bar environment
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 25 kg and carry it more than 100 meters repeatedly
- Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and driven to excel in everything you do
- Passionate about building relationships and collaborating to deliver meaningful solutions
- Appreciates the value of diverse perspectives in achieving shared objectives
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in warehouse settings.
- Physically capable of safely lifting and handling products, including boxes and materials up to 25 kg.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, statutory holidays and weekends

The salary range for this position is $18 — $22 per hour.
